On Tuesday, the President of the Republic Mr.Nicos Anastassiades met with the President of the Easter Mediterranean of Noble Energy Mr. Keith Elliot in the presence of the Minister of Energy Mr.Lakkotripis. According to an announcement made by Mr. Lakkotripis after the meeting, it is the first time which Cyprus will move from the stage of searching for hydrocarbon reserves to the stage of exploitation of the hydrocarbon reserves.
Cyprus is close to the stage of commercial exploitation of hydrocarbon reserves.
