Karolina Argyridou

Karolina graduated from the University of East Anglia with first class honors (LLB) in 2005 and obtained her Masters in Law (LLM) from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences with distinction (Banking and Financial Regulation) in 2006. Karolina specializes in the areas of banking law, investment and financial services, capital markets, regulatory and general corporate and commercial matters as well as personal data. Karolina advises various local and foreign credit and financial institutions on a daily basis and has advised on multiple high-profile corporate lending and
restructuring projects on the island and has extensive experience in setting up and advising alternative investment funds. Additionally, over the past years, Karolina has also been heavily involved in drafting of legislation of the financial services sector and has worked closely with government authorities on numerous projects for the drafting and transposition of major banking and financial services laws.
Prodromos Epifaniou

Prodromos graduated from Aristotle University and subsequently obtained his Masters in Law from the University of Bristol (LL.M in Commercial Law). Prodromos completed his pupillage with a Cyprus Law firm and subsequently worked for various law firms and financial institutions in London such as Standard Chartered Bank and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Before joining K.Argyridou and Associates LLC, Prodromos worked for investment firms in Malta and Cyprus.Prodromos’ main areas of practice are data protection and investment services.
Prodromos advises various institutions and organizations on GDPR and MiFID II matters and has undertaken the drafting and transposition of major pieces of banking and investment services legislation
Izabel Anemomylou

Izabel graduated from the European University of Cyprus (Law Degree). She completed her vocational training in 2017 in one leading law firm in Larnaca and she continued to work in the section of corporate, banking and finance law. Izabel has experience in corporate banking and finance matters, and she acts for both local and international financial institutions and advises international law firms, for debt financing transactions including syndicated and bilateral corporate financings as well as corporate restructurings, acquisition transactions and other secured financings.
She is also dealing with various Greek bond loan transactions involving Cypriot companies.
Izabel speaks Greek, English and Bulgarian and she is a mediator accredited by the Ministry of Justice since February 2021.
Georgia Messiou

Georgia studied Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science where she obtained her LLB with Honours. Subsequently she obtained her Master Degree at the University College London. She completed her one year pupilage in Cyprus at the Law Office of Montanios and Montanios dealing with Shipping matters. After that she became a member of the Cyprus Bar Association.She worked for a period of two years at the profession at the Law office of Dr. K. Chrysostomides. Immediately thereafter she was employed by Hellenic Bank Public Company Ltd where she jointed the Banks Internal Legal
Services as an in house lawyer for a period of 30 years. She was appointed as the Manager of the said Department for the last 15 years of her career. Her area of expertise in Banking and Corporate Law. After her retirement she joined the Law office of K. Argyridou and Associates LLC as a Senior Consultant advising on of banking Law and related matters.
Sophia Kyrou

Sophia graduated from the University of Reading in 2021, obtaining her LLB with first class honours. In 2022 she completed the Legal Practice Course (LPC) with MSc in Law, Business and Management from the University of Law in the UK. In 2023, she was admitted to the Cyprus Bar Association after completing her legal training with another reputable law firm in Cyprus. As a qualified lawyer, Sophia joined the firm in September 2023, and is mainly involved with banking law and financial regulation. She is fluent in both Greek and English.
